Consent
When you fill in a form and send it, you are consenting to us using the information for the purpose described above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing info@avivabm.ca, subject to legal and contractual limits. Withdrawing consent means we stop contacting you and delete what you sent, unless we are required to keep it.
How we use it
We use what you send us to answer you and to follow up on that conversation. We do not use it for anything else. Specifically, we do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary:
- With service providers who operate our website and email on our behalf, and only to the extent they need it to provide that service. They are required to protect it and may not use it for their own purposes.
- Where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Where it is stored
Our website and email are hosted on servers operated on our behalf. Information may be processed or stored outside Canada, in which case it is subject to the laws of the country where it is held, including lawful access by courts and government authorities there.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to answer them and to maintain a record of our dealings with you, and then delete them. Job applications are kept for the duration of the hiring process and for a reasonable period afterwards in case another role opens, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
How we protect it
We apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections to this website, access limited to the people who need it, and accounts protected by individual credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
